2010 EUROPEAN YEAR FOR COMBATING POVERTY AND SOCIAL EXCLUSION
Representative(s) of the European Union and national public authorities will be invited to present European and National programs for Social Inclusion through Sport and Education and discuss the opportunities of cooperation offered by EU Programs.
Football for Solidarity
- INTERCAMPUS will present the their Inclusion program, thanks to which Serb, Bosnian and Croatian children from Sarajevo play together in a split community.
- LEN for UNICEF will present their awareness program in favour of disadvantaged children who do not have access to water.
- The Italian Cricket National Team, formed by Pakistani, Bengalese, Indian members will tell their mixed identity of Asians, playing in English in an Italian national team and thus concretely showing the intertwining between sport, common rules, languages and nationalities.
- MTV will present ordinary stories of inclusion through sport told by young Europeans in the new MTV News Broadcast Program.
- RADIO RAI 1 will present GEO Mundial – Comparing Countries and Cultures in the Football World Championship 2010
- ARSENAL will present the developments of the Double Club Program and show the new Language Song and Music Video presented at Arsenal Emirates' Stadium.
